Build Your Home Chinese Pharmacy: Fall Series
Chinese herbs provide an effective solution to many common ailments--colds, indigestion, allergies, congestion, etc. Join Blake Storey of Chattanooga Holistic Medicine, as he discusses the herbs and formulas that you will want to have in your arsenal for the upcoming season. This workshop is for beginner and master herbalists alike. You will take home three formulas to begin using right away. Class is limited to 12 people. To allow time to order herbs, please reserve your spot by October 10th.
Blake Storey studied Chinese Medicine at Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, Colorado, where he received his Masters of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Clemson University with a focus in botany and plant taxonomy. He founded Chattanooga Holistic Medicine in 2016.

Fire Cider: A Hands-On Remedy-Making Workshop
learn how to make fire cider, a cool-season classic home remedy. After a brief overview of fire cider's benefits and traditional ingredients, we will prepare a batch as a group for the Herb Truck, a free mobile medicine project serving unhoused and marginalized folks in Chattanooga. You will leave with a recipe worksheet to create your own batch at home, plus the embodied experience of making medicine in community, for community. This is a FREE workshop, but a donation of $10 - $30 per person is suggested depending on your financial situation, or pay-it-forward above the sliding scale to keep workshops accessible for others.
